In season 1 (2016), strange events occur in the town of Hawkins when Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) goes missing. His trusted friends Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin Henderson (Geton Matrazzo) and Lucas Sinclair (Caleb Laughlin) begin their quest. Will's brave mother Joyce (Winona Ryder) believes she can hear Will through the walls of their house and tries to contact him using the light.
Will's older brother Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) is initially skeptical but later supports his mother's desperate efforts. Brutal Hawkins Police Chief Jim Hopper was quick to take Joyce's claims seriously as he conducted his own observations and investigations. Nancy's (Natalia Dyer) best friend, Mike's older sister Barbara, also moves in when Nancy's boyfriend, school jock Steve Harrington (Joe Carey), goes missing.
In the woods, the boys meet a girl with telepathic powers named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). He runs away from a laboratory run by a scientist named Papa, Dr. Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) is driven. The elf (or L for short) opens a door to the upper world by unleashing a monster called the Demogorgon, who comes from an alternate "Down Under" dimension of the children's existence.
In season 2 (2017), Will is still under the shadow of another Upside Down named Mind-Flare, and his mother and friends are trying to free him. Hawkins' new children, curly redhead Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) and half-brother Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery) are born. El runs away from his new home with Hopper, meets his mother Terri Ives (Amy Mullins) and Number 8 Callie (Linya Bartelson).
In Season 3 (2019), Hawkins had a new large mall called Starcourt. Steve is there working at an ice cream shop with a new hottie, Robin (Maya Hawke). Lucas' younger sister Erica (Priya Ferguson) often beats them for their antics. They help Dustin crack the radio code and find the Russian lab under the mall and break in to open the underground door.
Worried about Ellen's romance with Michael, Hopper seeks advice from Joyce. Joyce asks science teacher Scott Clark (Randy Havens) to find out why the magnetic reference has lost its magnetism. Nancy and Jonathan visit the home of an elderly widow who is an intern at the local newspaper to investigate a rat infestation. Meanwhile, Mind-Flare captures Billy to collect more souls for his army.
In Chapter 4 (2022), Joyce and her children move to Lenora, California with El. During spring break, Mike visited them and asked him and Dr. Upon seeing Brenner reunited, Dr. Sam Owens (Paul Reaser) kidnaps her and takes her to a secret lab in the desert. Meanwhile, Joyce, along with Russian-speaking conspiracy theorist Murray (Brett Gelman), goes on a mission to find Hopper in a Russian prison.
Back in Hawkins, cheerleader Chrissy (Grace Van Dyn) faces a gruesome death, and Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn), president of the Hellfire Club D&D gaming group, is the prime suspect. Chrissy's boyfriend Jason Carver (Mason Dye) leads the hunt, while Dustin rallies the gang to help Eddie. Max narrowly escapes becoming the next victim of a powerful being named Vecna, but is willing to offer himself up as bait to lift the curse.
The main reason for its success was the nostalgia of the 80s with trends, fashion, technology, movies and of course music. 80's hits "Africa", "Waiting for a girl like you", "Shadow of Winter", "Whip It", "Girls on the Movies", "The Spirit in You" made Boomer irresistible. Spectators. ", "Never Give Up", "My Bologna", "Material Girl", "Neutron Dance", "Tarzan Boy" and "Pass the Gerslick".
Some songs played an important role in the story, such as "Should I Stay or Should I Go" in Conflict Season 1, "The Neverending Story" by Limahl in Season 3, and "Dream a Little Dream" by Ella Fitzgerald in Season 4, especially in 1985 Keith Bush's "Running Down That Hill," which debuted at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, returns to a new No. 4 spot on the chart due to its massive popularity. Like Max's favorite song from Season 4.
This Duffer Brothers series was released in 2011. Four seasons after his debut in 2016, we can see why he's going strong. Despite all the monstrous creatures and gory violence, we see the underprivileged children and their families caught up in this chaotic affair. Season after season, we saw the kids grow up before our eyes. We're also rooting for Winona Ryder and David Harbour, who brilliantly portray the two main characters.
Of course, the storyline of weird kids against mad scientists, evil monsters and ruthless Russians can be really crazy and amazing. Their guesses were generally correct, and their bets often paid off, so we know that no one in the original group was seriously injured or killed. When you're on the verge of death, you usually save at the last minute.
Taking a full month off Season 4 with Episode 7 before the final two episodes aired on July 1st was inspired by the game. These two episodes were longer than usual, the finale was 2 hours and 30 minutes, practically a multi-genre movie full of action, comedy, horror, danger and drama. Season 4 featured many references and callbacks to previous seasons that fans will be familiar with.
