Joanna worked for 30 years as a social worker for the NGO We Care Philippines and currently works in the slums of Caloocan City. As part of his educational program, he worked with the Dumagat tribes of Quezon Province. One of his major projects was writing a book about indigenous couples. I also applied for a two-year fellowship to work with the indigenous tribes of Papua New Guinea. He didn't have a friend, and his classmates continued to bully him.
On one of the rare evenings I spent drinking at a bar, I met Joan Williams, a 30-year-old woman with a charming smile who runs an advertising company inherited from her father. He got along with both of them and eventually agreed to move in with her. But one thing was missing from their love for each other. William never seems to have recovered from his breakup with ex-girlfriend Portia (Shannon Robinson) and didn't really want to get married.
This movie is the Meg Imperial show. It was her character, Joan, who had to make difficult life decisions over the past five years. She has achieved great success in her academic and professional life, never feeling the need for a man by her side despite constant reminders of her "anxiety" from family and friends. But after five years of living together with William and without marriage, is that enough?
Tom Rodriguez struggled with his problematic character in William and the way he wrote it. She had the traits of a beautiful, gorgeous witch and a confident, successful businesswoman because it was in her comfort zone. However, William's mental struggle over the idea of marriage never got the attention it deserved. What was really holding him back? What was he waiting for?
The theme of marriage and the ups and downs that couples go through is widely discussed in various configurations . sister Joan Berna (Yayo Aguila) and her husband Jake (Nico Delos Santos), married partners Cheryl (Mariv Necisseto) and Chris (Martin Escudero). , transgender fiancée Bonita (Patricia Baiomo) and her partner, as well as her teenage husband Joan, helped out.
This conversational drama ran for 2 hours and 20 minutes and director Lemuel Lorca could have streamlined it better. The lessons of this film are summed up in a 3-minute essay by William Lola Anding (Gigi Locsin) about turning love into faith, making decisions for yourself first, but not excluding the person closest to you. Great advice, nice to hear but not easy to follow.
