Based on a true story, Himalaya tells the story of two best friends, Umm Hong Gil (Hwang Jung Min) and Park Moo Tak (Jung Woo), who dream of being the first Koreans to conquer all the poons. However, a tragic event changed her life forever.

At first glance, the Himalayas promise a lot. There are exciting exit scenes, there are strong characters, there are tears. But that's how they sell the film.
Trust me, lower your expectations. First, for those of you who expect this movie to be as intense as last year's Everest , Himalaya is not for you. The initial scene accounts for only thirty percent of the overall length, and most of its dramatic effects do not keep the audience firmly on the armrests of their seats .
Second, Himalaya focuses more on the inner relationship between the characters, Korean life, and the emotions between the audience and the characters. So yeah, Himalaya isn't too far removed from most Korean films, it's just presented in a different blockbuster package . But unfortunately, rather than depicting the deeper side of the drama of Bhutan's Karakiaskala Kangwa or the strengths of Akuskea Membra, the script and performance of Himalaya tended to rely on manipulative dialogue and acting power to keep the audience engaged. Canguaskima film. After all, Himalaya flows like any other friendship film: clichés, nonsense and scathing dialogue, not a film adaptation of a true story that's actually quite sad and surprisingly interesting.
All in all, the Himalayas are a beautiful showcase for his homeland. The plot is usually based on the formula of the same proven films, combined with a weak script and boring actors, this film is anything but "special". And of course, Himalayas managed to tear most viewers' emotions down until they couldn't hold back their tears, and yes, that's probably more than enough to recommend this film to you.
