Domino (or Eno) and Caramel (or Kara) have been best friends since middle school. Eno started as an artist with her parents Fidel (Ariel Rivera) and Ella (as Eula Valdes). Kara left for Hong Kong for her writing career. While Kara is abroad, Ino is involved in a serious car accident that changes her life for the worse. Distraught, Kara went home to help her friend.

A head injury from a car accident left young Ino with total achromatopsia, leaving her world in grayscale. The accident does not seem to have left him with any neurological impairment other than this visual impairment, but it had a devastating effect on his chosen career as an artist. However, on that fateful day, an even greater tragedy occurred, a tragedy that filled Ino with agonizing guilt.

Kara has been in love with Ino since her school days, but their relationship has never gone beyond best friends. She has always been a carefree girl, always optimistic and happy. However, her power of positive motivation doesn't seem to work for her best friend, Ino. With Ino making no progress, Kar had to come forward to take their relationship to the next level.

This was the first film I saw Belle Mariano in and I must say she is very refreshing on screen. Her Kara is so smart and sweet that everyone wonders what's holding Eno back, even the people waiting for attention: Skye (Jeremiah Lisbo) and Iris (Angelina Cruz). Ino was surly, even toxic, for most of the film, so Donnie Pangilinan had limited wiggle room. The two young stars handled their climactic confrontation scene very well with tears in their eyes.

The film marks the directorial debut of John Leo Garcia, an experienced producer of some of Star Cinema's most successful films. Here follows the tried and true formula of a romantic comedy. Best friends can't confess their romantic feelings to each other. Each of them hooks up with another attractive person, causing the other to feel jealous. The ending... well, I know you know very well how this movie will end. 6/10.
