Shane Black for Iron Man 3 is a 3D movie (and his feature film K2), so you shouldn't be surprised if Iron Man 3 with its 3D effects is a 3D movie. The level of location in this movie reminds me a lot of high-quality 3D effects and the explosion of the blah blah blah trend in 3D : angry, dark, that makes my eyes hurt. To make matters worse, the climactic scene of this film takes place at night (and many of the younger scenes have a dark tone) , and it is quite difficult to see what is happening on the screen.
