20 BORING FACTS ABOUT ME (THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE KNOWN IF YOU’D FOLLOWED MY TWITTER OR SIMPLY BEING ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS)

People have faced many challenges on the internet these days. Like the global phenomenon of the Ice Bucket Challenge, which I think makes no sense. And then the "Post your #cinephilephoto" challenge, which is pretty easy (I posted "The Fetal Position Haunted Dr. Ryan Stone" on Gravity if you're really curious). And then there's this "Write 20 Facts About Yourself" challenge that's currently popping up on Instagram. Some of my friends tagged me on Twitter, Path and then Instagram and I thought why not? And here are 20 BORING FACTS ABOUT ME IF YOU FOLLOW MY TWITTER @ELBERT_REYNER OR ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS. Guys are just bribes for a title. 

1. I'm a movie buff, movie blogger, graphic designer, filmmaker, serial killer, entrepreneur, and writer. 
2. I am an accredited novelist with two short stories and an award-winning novel to be published in the summer of 2015.
3. I've never gotten good grades in Indonesian, but my first novel, Memories from the Rain, was named one of the top eight novels of the year (2014) in a national writing competition, beating out some language teachers I know. . . . low in this competition. Welcome to the real world, whore.
4. I'm happy to spend money on original Blu-rays and imported books, but only 10% have been watched or read. I love to collect them and admire them on my shelf.
5. Big fan of Quentin Tarantino. Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds are two of his best works and I could watch them anytime.
6. Perfectionist, with a capital P. 
7. Having a comprehensive list of the 21st best places in Surabaya, making you the only person with that list in Surabaya. believe in me
8. He has an unusual sense of humor. I found Evil Dead very funny and Rowan Atkinson not funny.
9. He was nominated for the 2013 Maya Cup for the best film critic, but did not win.
10. I love reading, watching and writing stories about loss and death. I found it interesting.
11. I am too lazy to read books by other authors. And if I really wanted to read, it took me about a month, sometimes two, to finish a novel. And you know, I can finish a novel in a month.
12. Favorite brands: Apple and Louis Vuitton. They have created some of the most beautiful things in human history.
13. I only work in black. And sometimes the grays are very, very, very dark.
14. Introvert, but not antisocial.
15. Favorite day of the week: Wednesday. Guess not!
16. A man with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), cynical, paranoid and rather harsh.
17. I hate having guests/visitors. They always make me nervous.
18. I have severe stage fright. I could pass on stage.
19. Songs from the 70s and 80s are the best. Some of my favorites: " Fooled Around and Fell in Love " by Elvin Bishop, " Yesterday " by the Beatles , " Pina Colada Song " by Rupert Holmes , " Old Time Rock and Roll " by Risky Business (walk in these Tom Cruise underwear!), Chuck Berry's " You Never Can Tell " , Redbones Come and Get Your Love , 10ccs I'm Not in Love , Dexy's Midnight Runners' Come on Eileen , Samples' Could Be Another Change , The Five Stairsteps' OOH Child and David Bowie's space oddity .
20. He made friends twice, and boy was he a real pain.
